Lemme tell you a little bit about how cool Kat + Shawn are:

As much as these two fit in perfectly with the Montana environment, they’re actually not PNW natives! They’re both nurses from Virginia who decided to take a trip out to Montana in their van and document it.

Sooo I met up in Glacier with them to do couples photos while they were on their road trip, and it was such a freaking blast!!

We explored the park starting at dawn, when the light was just barelyyyyy peeking over the mountains. They breathed in the crisp mountain air and watched as the sun came up, and it was truly magical! Plus we also saw deer and goats while we explored and you know I always love seeing wildlife.

Then the sun gave the mountains the prettiest pink glow behind Kat + Shawn and man was it peaceful. Still in blue hour, we headed to a spot with more greenery & trees, and a super light fog creeped into the mountains behind us. It was so stunning with the alpenglow on the tips of the mountains in the distance + the light fogginess behind the couple!!

And we can’t ignore how perfect their outfits were for this Glacier National Park photoshoot!!

They both started off in super comfy outfits, Kat in a white tee/denim jeans/boots & Shawn in a dark grey tee/khakis/boots. These were the perfect outfits for doing some walking around the park - they allowed movement & were practical, but also super cute and simple!!

Once we had some more light coming in, Kat changed into the prettiest red dress with floral patterns. It totally changed the vibe from adventurous + casual to “we look hella hot & just a lil’ fancy in this national park!”
