Glacier National Park Elopement | Hannah + Ben

These two… where do I even begin? We had never met until their wedding in Montana, but it felt like we knew each other for years. We had bonded over our love for Deschutes fresh squeezed IPA and our love for the outdoors and obsession over all things Mcdonald’s and Chick-fil-a.

But these two took things into their own hands and changed the game for weddings, doing it all their own way, that fit perfectly for them and their lives together. They got their immediate family and closest few friends to all spend a weekend in Montana at Hannah’s parents lake house, where they were able to just hang out, hike and spend time around bonfires with the people closest to them.

Hannah wore a Made With Love  gown from Glamour Closet in LA and Ben wore a freaking rocking suit from Studiosuits paired with a vintage Montana Bolo tie they found at a thrift store. Rose Mountain Florals did Hannahs gorgeous bouquet and New Image Salon  in Montana did Hannahs hair at 5 am (she is a freaking trooper!!). Hannah rocked a pair of Teva hiking boots and she definitely made them look so fabulous with her wedding gown.

Hannah and Ben and I went into glacier national park for sunrise and got ready in the car and the woods where we then had their first look along the banks of the lake, with the reflections of the mountains all around us in 360 views!

The emotional first look, filled with private vows, intimate jokes and lots of laughter, cold hands, and seeing our own breath, was one I will never forget. We then hopped in the car and head to Apgar amphitheater where their friends and family met us and we had their intimate ceremony to legally do the dang thing and become husband and wife! This was followed by chick-fil-a breakfast and then a 5 mile round trip hike to a beautiful lake, where we were met with a black bear sighting, 3 mountain goats more interested in us than we were with them, and every single person we passed asking to take a selfie with Hannah and ben since they were hiking in a wedding dress and suit!

Hannah and ben ended the night at her parens lake houes, with home made food and everyone sharing their favorite memories and stories of the two of them, and then a bonfire for s’mores and sparklers to end the night.

To top off the whole weekend, the three of us headed back into the park the next afternoon for sunset and the colors of the sun did not dissapoint. Hannah and Ben cuddled up in their Pendleton Glacier NP blanket while in Glacier NP and used their new binoculars and hiking leather backpack to make the park look ever so stylish. This weekend was definitely an elopement I will never ever get over and that I wish I could re-live every single day.
