Rainy Colorado Springs Wedding at Garden of the Gods

COLORADO SPRINGS WEDDING

Welcome to the beautiful wedding day story of Micah and Colin. Their intimate boho-style wedding took place in the spectacular ‘Garden of the gods’ in Colorado Springs. How incredible that a city has such a prominent landmark for all to behold and enjoy for free! Designated as a national natural landmark, the public park is visited by millions of adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers each year.

A dramatic landscape of unique, raw, and authentic natural architecture is an outstanding backdrop for elopement/wedding portraits. Red, pink, purple, blue, and white vertical sandstone rock formations, some reaching 300 ft high. Miles of hiking treks through forests and plains of lush green trees and grasses. Distant snow-capped Pikes Peak and Rocky Mountain Ranges. Mostly, clear brilliant blue skies, although Micah and Colin received some heavenly rain drops during their ceremony. I personally think it added romance and amazing images. Enjoy viewing these stunning Garden of the gods, Colorado Springs, CO wedding photos.

About The Couple: Colorado Springs

Micah and Colin are a fun and adventurous down to earth couple. They desired an above and beyond wedding destination experience to share with family and friends. Everything they planned and hoped for in this gorgeous location will take your breath away. They even added some sparkly disco balls to ensure everyone was in a celebration mood. Different accents personalize your vibe and anchor the ceremony/reception space. Micah, Colin, and their guests danced the night away under a moonlit sky.

Vows are one of the most important moments in a wedding ceremony as their promises are meant for a lifetime. Traditionally bridal couples declare their personal vows to each other in the presence of their nearest and dearest. Many couples are now opting to privately say their vows to each other, away from the limelight, in an intimate personal space. Micah and Colin opted for private vows just outside of the Garden of the gods. We then planned for golden hour sunset wedding photos in the Gardens and the setting was truly breathtaking.

Micah looked radiant in her beautiful empire neckline front and back fit and flare bridal dress. The back of the wedding dress had buttons from top to floor. A chapel train with gorgeous and practical white ankle boots. Twisted half up, half down fishtail plaited long blonde cascading curls and thread diamante and gold earrings. Micah’s bohemian floral bouquet reflected the surrounding colors of the Gardens of the gods.

Colin looked fantastic in a black 2-piece suit, white button-up shirt, tie, tan shoes, and a lovely spring boho boutonniere. Together in the Gardens of gods amongst the beauty of nature and wildlife, Micah and Colin have wedding portraits of fun, romance, and pure love. A wedding day experience to grace the walls of their home forevermore.
