Love lasts a lifetime, and who doesn’t enjoy seeing photos of our parents when they were young, in love, and had us in mind!

Many miracles take place in life, two I’m eternally grateful for are Friendship and Maternity. First, Friendship. It is defined as a state of enduring affection, esteem, intimacy, and trust between two people. Second, maternity. The quality or state of being a mother. This special Maternity Session is with gorgeous pregnant ‘Friend and Mother’ Olivia and her wonderful husband James. They are so close to welcoming their precious son into this world. Olivia and I have known each other since college and it was a privilege to photograph this intimate, joy-filled time of their lives.

Having a baby is so exciting, it had James in Cartwheels, during the photo shoot, literally! When you go for the ultrasounds and see their small, perfect details and hear their heartbeat, you can’t help but fall in love. A precious Baby Boy is inside the radiant Olivia, and she honestly is glowing! The simple white dress and natural beige felt hat with her healthy long straightened hair and gold hoop earrings looked fabulous. James in a long-sleeved charcoal grey collared shirt and black jeans with desert boots, looks confidently ready to wear the name DAD proudly.

The Maternity Session was set in open fields of golden harvest with bare trees and shrubs in the background. The glorious sunlight shines through the photos. The photos with the smile from ear to ear on James’s face as he gently places his strong hands-on Olivia’s belly, feeling Baby Boy kick and move are priceless. I also love the ruby red nails of Olivia lovingly holding her pregnant belly. Hands down, these friends are going to make the very best of parents.
