12 Ridges Vineyard Wedding | Rachel + Nathan
What if I told you the groom’s parents bought a vineyard for their sons wedding?? Okay well not ONLY for their sons wedding, but they did buy this vineyard and turned into a BEAUTIFUL wedding venue! Their sons wedding just happened to be the first wedding to ever take place at it! And it was the most perfect opening wedding, in my opinion. Here in Virginia we have the blue ridge mountains EVERYWHERE, yet it is hard to find a venue that has 360 views showcasing these gorgeous blue mountains. Well… not anymore, because 12 Ridges Vineyard has 360 mountain views that you cannot beat, and the sunsets are remarkable and breathtaking. With their cocktail hour taking place at one of the highest altitude vineyards in VA, all the guests got to drink wine and beer while being able to take in all the views VA has to offer!
With Rachel’s sister designing their invite suite, it could not have been more perfect, along with the gorgeous name place cards for the head table, and Rachel’s mom scouring goodwills and thrift and antique stores to find the most beautiful blue and white vases and plates, it made for the most beautiful reception decor and layout. The vintage and retro black and white tile dance floor, made the dancing come to life, with the help of the live band, Horizon, through Sam Hill Entertainment!
Rachel looked stunning in her Anne Barge gown, the she added some cool vintage cuffs to, and rocked some PRADA shoes!!!! And Nathan Rocked a suit from The Black Tux! With their ceremony being against those blue ridge mountains, it was simple yet gorgeous and lots of tears were shed between everyone who was there listening to the words they shared and vows they made.
Nathan (who everyone should listen to on spotify- Nathan Colberg) and his guys had a hell of a time throwing him around during dancing, Rachel even crown surfed too!! Their bridal party made the day, that much better!
This was a day that brought in the wedding season perfectly, with smiles ear to ear, dancing til people lost their shoes, and the most perfect first wedding, it was one I will never forget, I mean look at those views?!
