I’m Hailes. your CO wedding & elopement photographer.

I’m a Colorado Wedding Photographer who strives for authentic connection, from me and you, a two-way friendship, so here’s my story. Years ago, I lost my grandfather and my close friend, and even to this day, the photos I have of them mean everything to me. You can relive countless memories in a single photo, and the ones I have are why I’m inspired to preserve these memories for others.

I’m a wedding and elopement photographer who loves to get dirty, crack jokes, and capture those unexpectedly emotional moments you never saw coming. You can spend a year planning your wedding day and you’re still going in blindly—that’s the beauty of it. Something you never planned for (like snow during your May wedding, your flower girl tripping and rolling down the aisle, the best man forgetting the wedding band, or your dad ripping has pants on the dance floor—yep it’s ALL happened) might just become your favorite memory. You’ll want someone behind the camera that expects the unexpected. But you also want someone who can capture you & your partner for who you truly are. The tears during your letters to one another, the way he holds and kisses your cheek every night before bed, the way she stroked your hair from behind before hugging you around your neck, the way you fight, the way you laugh, the way you love. You want someone who can also capture all of that, and then some.

Georgia born, Colorado based, and ready to travel wherever your adventure takes us, there is no location too far and no wedding too unconventional. I am not about fake laughs and prom poses and awkward hand-holding. I am about real love, real life, and all the quirks it comes with.

my approach.

My philosophy on your day and my shooting.

 

Heres my promise to you.

I promise to tell your story. i promise to capture the day and moments from your perspective and mine, to let you live in the moment. to give you an experience rather than a photo experience. I promise to make your photos unique to you, and your relationship, not just another instagram post.

I promise to be not just your photographer or another vendor. I promise to listen, to what you want and your dreams for the day. I promise to be more than your photographer, but to be a friend, who you can vent to, cry to, and share all your stories with.

This is a two way relationship, you and your partner and me. We will trust one another, and honest work will be made on it’s own, due to our own bond. And yes, lots of Mcdonald’s and taco bell will be eaten along the way.

Hailey is the whole package. She photographed my elopement session at sapphire point. Her photos are amazing (obviously) but the experience is what makes her worth it. Hailey is so creative, so friken fun (I think my husband enjoyed it even more than me), she thinks outside the box, and gives the best direction so you’re never wondering “what the hell do I do with my hands”. She hypes you up the whole time and you’ll leave any session thinking y’all are now bffs. After two sessions with her she’s one of my new favorite people and will photograph every important event for the rest of my life. In other words. Hire her. Right now.

Hailey was better than any photographer my husband I could have ever dreamed up. We already knew we'd get incredible photos with Hailey, but didn't expect to become fast and true friends with her, as well. Hailey somehow made the whole process of getting married super chill and laid back, while still managing to stay on top of everything so I didn't stress about any detail. She was WAY more than just a photographer. She scouted amazing locations, loaned me her gloves when it snowed, helped us DIY our intimate elopement/reception, shared our love of IPA's and taco bell, hiked all over Glacier National Park with us, and made us laugh...a lot. My husband and I were nervous about having a camera follow us around everywhere and spending an entire weekend with a stranger, but Hailey took the time to get to know us and quickly became our friend before we even met for the wedding. She is so easy and fun to be around, which was super important to us because of the intimacy of our small elopement. She didn't make us pose, but instead just let allowed us to be our truest selves and captured the most special of moments that we will cherish forever. I honestly can't say enough about how grateful we are for the beautiful moments she captured and the friendship that she has provided. If you're wondering if you should book her, stop already and just do it. For real.

If you are looking for a photographer to capture moments that you’ll cherish forever, Hailey is your lady. She has a professionals eye in everything she does, and is wonderful to work with. Hailey arrived early, and scouted all possible locations of our wedding and found the perfect place. Hailey worked tirelessly before we arrived, and the entirety of the time we were there. As we ate and celebrated Hailey diligently edited photos. Haileys work ethic is obvious, personality wonderful, talent undeniable. If you have hesitations, put them aside. Look around at the landscape when Hailey shoots your photos, be mindful of the situation you are in as she captures the moment, and it will be obvious why SHE is there and you have made the right decision.
